Simple question. What are you? Not really easy to answer, is it? I am many things and yet still trying to figure it out. We evolve. At this age you would think I would know. Our experiences make us who we are and our reactions to those experiences effect our lives. So far I believe I am young at heart, still growing, friendly,apt to make mistakes,accepting of lots of folks and their quirks,budding photographer, constantly changing, avid reader, hopefully getting wiser with age...I am lots and lots of things.
Luckily I dont have to be any one thing! I am very sure I have a strange sense of humor. I like to laugh at things that are just silly. Lenny and Squiggy. Who's on First. The Muppet Show. Gription is one of my favorite silly things. Gription is an original Adamism meaning something with grip + traction. He first said it when he was really little and was running really really fast in his new sneakers. They had Gription!! Our family used that word a lot over the years. I still use it. I love that word and it makes me laugh when ever I think of it. I think Adam just shakes his head when I mention it now.
Luckily for us in the 21st century we can take a quiz and get the answer on who we are! I have taken what food are you, what car are you, what superpower do you have. They are stupid and mindless and a waste of time. But some of them are FUN. Today I somehow got from watching Muppets singing Beatles' songs on Youtube to a new quiz on which Muppet are you. Why not...I thought I would see if I was the same Muppet this year as I was last year. I was not. But, I was amazed at the result and the "kind of" accuracy of the answer. It was silly, it made me laugh and it was a great departure to the stress of the what now's of life in 2010.

ReplyDeleteI used the link above and got to a whole menu of quizzes. Searched for "muppet" and found "Which Muppet are you?". First question, "Who is your favorite muppet?" This is actually a horribly difficult question, but chose Miss Piggy for reasons that shall be left unsaid. Response, "Yep, you're Miss Piggy then. I'm sure people used to call you this growing up, probably since you're kinda snobby, have very little talent, a total drama queen, and you think you're a diva!"
Regardless of the accuracy of that statement, surely this is not the muppet quiz you were referring to!
